The Alleluia, Spirit, and Vivace Choirs are thriving and growing parts of the music programs for children and young adults at the First Congregational Church of Western Springs. The Alleluia Choir consists of singers age 5 through grade 2, and the Spirit Choir is made up of singers in grades 3-6. The children sing in worship every four to six weeks throughout the school year, and rehearse together making joyful noises every week. The Vivace Choir is for singers in grades 7-12, and performs intermittently throughout the year rehearsing only twice or three times before a performance. While the singers from all three choirs strive to build our skills as musicians, singers, and ensemble members, we greatly enjoy sharing our music and lively energy with family, church, and community members. Newcomers are welcome all year round, and may contact youth choir director Natalie Ingrisano at
Alleluia choir rehearses during the school year on Sundays at 10am, and Spirit choir rehearses at 11:35.
